If your child has a known or suspected diagnosis you may be looking for on-going Physiotherapy for your child. At this moment in time we are able to offer, therapy reviews and blocks of therapy from our clinic in school hours, term time only. School and home visits are offered subject to availability. Once your enquiry has been received an initial virtual consultation will be made. This is approximately 30 minutes and is to take a full history, determine that face to face contact is necessary and that Physiotherapy is the correct approach. It is also an opportunity to ask any questions and ensure a therapeutic relationship can be established.
Following this it is likely that a series of 2-4 additional appointments will be arranged to gain an in-depth understanding of your child’s abilities, your family goals (and if appropriate education goals), their response to therapy and their equipment provision.
After these assessments a therapy plan will be made with short and long term goals established.
Only after these assessments can reports written.
Assessments will predominantly take place at our base. However home visits are possible subject to location (travel charges will apply).
